There is a connectedness and unifying force amongst Black women. Our joys, our struggles, our shared histories, both real and imagined, link us together.

For this project entitled, My Sister’s Keeper, my vision was to use pose and movement to depict the experiences of Black women. This project seeks to highlight how these experiences, the similarities in our journey, binds us into a sisterhood.
